Shopko chain of retail stores was established in 1962 and at present the Wisconsin-based company operates 135 stores located in 13 states in the country, with nearly 13,000 employees. Most of the stores are located in strip malls, shopping malls or standalone outlets. The popular products sold at Shopko including apparels, footwear, bedding, furniture and furnishings, jewelry, beauty products, electronics, house wares, eye lenses, among many others.

Shopko also operates walk-in clinics inside the stores known as “FastCare.” Shopko Express, the chain of pharmacy stores run by Shopko sells edited assortments of merchandise including grocery, wine and liquor, health and beauty products, lotteries, and over the counter medicines.
