Price Cutter chain of grocery retail stores was established in 1919 with just one small grocery store in Springfield, Missouri. Currently, the company operated 45 stores under the banners Price Cutter, Price Cutter Plus, Smitty’s, Ramey, Save-A-Lot, and Food Pyramid stores in Missouri and Oklahoma.
