A.   Better more youthful and healthier apperance, self esteem.

Q.   Are there significant risks associated with facelift surgery?

A.   If performed by a board certified plastic surgery, taking into consideration patients individual facial characteristics, then risks are basic, as for every surgery (bleeding, scars, anesthesia risks)

A.   No, since approach needs to be individualized to fit each patient's needs. Overall, I tend to accommodate patients who prefer to look better, healthier rather then different/operated/"plastic" since patients do not like that.

A.   Yes

Q.   How long after facelift can I resume normal activities?

A.   About two weeks. Most patients are able to attend any social event by three weeks.

Q.   Who is a good candidate for face lift surgery?

A.   Patients who have loose facial and especially neck skin, who have an obtuse rather then sharp neck angle, and jawling.
