A. Rejuvenation of facial skin and subcutaneous tissues descended due to aging.

A. If performed by a board certified plastic surgery, taking into consideration patients individual facial characteristics, then risks are basic, as for every surgery (bleeding, scars, anesthesia risks)
Q. Is there a common technique for facelift procedures?
A. No, since approach needs to be individualized to fit each patient's needs. Overall, I tend to accommodate patients who prefer to look better, healthier rather then different/operated/"plastic" since patients do not like that.
Q. Is a facelift performed under general anesthesia?
A. Yes
Q. How long after facelift can I resume normal activities?
A. About two weeks. Most patients are able to attend any social event by three weeks.
Q. Who is a good candidate for face lift surgery?
A. Patients who have loose facial and especially neck skin, who have an obtuse rather then sharp neck angle, and jawling.
