THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA (ITALY): This majestic tower is another one among the world’s seven wonders because of its incredible leaning position against the ground. What originated as a structural design flaw of engineering nearly 1,500 years ago, is today marveled by the world as an amazing piece of architecture.

THE ACROPOLIS (ATHENS): A historic and grand piece of rock that rises nearly 150 meters above the sea level, it is a monument of great historical and cultural significance. Every four years in the ancient city of Athens, the Panathenea festival was held that was as popular as the Olympic games. The procession of this festival stopped at the Acropolis and into the famed Parthenon.

THE ROMAN COLOSSEUM (ROME): This magnificent structure was originally a gigantic amphitheatre which could seat over 50,000 people. With its classic ancient art and architecture, the Colosseum has been a mute witness to the history of Europe through ages.

EDINBURGH CASTLE (SCOTLAND): Located in the city of Edinburgh in Scotland, and surrounded by beautiful gardens on all sides, this historic structure is over one thousand years old, and overwhelms the skyline of the city with its magnificence. CATHEDRAL NOTRE DAME (PARIS): This classic piece of architecture is done in Gothic style, and earns a pride of place among the world’s finest structures. It is flanked by grand columns, windows and statues, and serves till today as the throne of the archbishop of France.

THE BIG BEN (LONDON): One of the most famous landmarks of Britain, it is also one of the biggest clock towers in the world. It is a wonderful sight to watch especially at nights when it is brightly lit up with lighting.

LA SAGRADA FAMILIA (BARCELONA): This unfinished church in Barcelona, Spain, stands timelessly like an unfinished symphony. Its creator, Antoni Gaudi died before the structure could be finished. Its unique design and its majestic towers make it an awesome sight for the visitors.

ST. MICHAELIS CHURCH (HAMBURG): The glorious highlight of the city of Hamburg in Germany, it stands tall at 132 meters in height. It was made as a memorial to archangel Michael, whose large statue in bronze shows the archangel defeating the evil.
