A person's room is where he/she will be living and where he/she needs to enjoy the most. How your room looks is a direct reflection to what type of person you are and what type of character you have. There are so many ways and things that will help your room look better and cool. Waking up every morning to a room that will make you happy will make your entire day happy.

First thing is first' there is nothing in the world that can make you feel better or make your room or you more cooler than music. Make sure that you have at least a small beat up old radio in your room. This will instantly change the way you feel about your immediate surrounding. A little bit of music can take you a log way. It will not only help you relax when you are stressed but will help you enjoy the finer things in life.

The second important thing is that you have a somewhat clean room. I'm not saying that your room needs to be spick and span. But having a room which is a little organized will help you in a lot of ways. For example when you can see what is in the room it will be much easy for you to find something. If your room is a mess all together then it won't be that easy. Some kids don't clean their room so that it makes them look tough and cool. This is of course a foolish blindfold that you have put over your head. When your room is presentable even to your friends you will earn the respect of friends and even your parents. Why do you want to try and look cool in a “messed up” way when you can easily look cool and presentable in a mature way?

Down to what can make your room look a little cooler. Posters always help. Many kids put up posters of musicians and actors on their wall. But then again many kids do that. So try to do something different like put up picture of friends and family. This will add in a nice warmly feeling to your room. Put up some words of wisdom or some of your favorite quotes. Stick them on the ceiling or in a place where you can see. If you can draw' then draw something that you like. Get the permission from your parents and if they are alright with it paint a picture on one side of the room.

These are some of the things that will make your room look much cooler. Be creative and whatever you do make sure that it reflects a piece of you. This will make you feel happy and right at home inside your room. This will also make you feel a part of the room and will give you a sense of belonging.
