Taunton Events Festivals And Attractions
Taunton was originally founded by Native Americans right before the arrival of the Europeans later in the 19th century. There were a number of companies here that produces silver goods and exported it to many other places. There used to be a number of towns surrounding Taunton, all of which have been renamed now. The central square of the city, also known as Taunton Green is one of the main points of interest in the city. The place used to be a training ground for militias giving it historical importance too. |

Taunton City, Weather, Homes and Real Estate Discussions
Taunton has a number of residential area, all of them organized into neighborhoods. The community here is pretty close knit as each and every member of the community looks out for the next. There are two main state parks here both of which are operated by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. If you are looking for a house in the city, look for one that is not too far from these parks especially if you have children under the age of 18 living with you. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel is one movie that is poised on the edge of success. All of the theaters that feature this movie are packed right now, as the audience here range from children under the age of 5 to adults over 60! Nice movie for the entire family as there is something in the movie to appeal to each and everyone. Even though the movie spans only a short period of around 1 hour and 38 minutes, the movie does not feel rushed and over produced in any way. |
