A. Good candidates are those with realistic expectations and who have no contra-indication to undergo an elective cosmetic procedure.

Q. What type of anesthetic is used for breast augmentation surgery?

A. General anesthesia is usually used for breast augmentation.

Q. What are the risks associated with breast augmentation?

A. Risks include bleeding, infection, scarring, asymmetry, less than satisfactory results, contractures or hardening around the implant, numbness, deflation, rippling, wrinkling, or palpability of the implant.

Q. How much does breast augmentation cost?

A. It usually costs about $5,500.00
