It revolves around the life of a rich bachelor, Charlie Harper (Sheen), who earns from writing jingles for commercials and TV shows, and has a very frivolous private life. His brother, Alan (Cryer), a clean – freak, has been kicked out by his wife, and so he goes to his brother to stay with him. Alan’s son, Jake (Jones), is a dimwitted boy. The main reason for its success is the way the brothers cope with each other, despite their totally contrasting natures. |
