Human body is your greatest asset. Neglecting it in any form will make it difficult to turn around and it is the same for your skin. Therefore take care of it, nourish, pamper it and the myth that you need a big bank balance to do this is not true. In this day and age most young and not so young people invest much on cosmetics to retain and enhance their beauty. The main purpose of a product is to exfoliate the dead and dry cells and rejuvenate the skin but not all cosmetics do that and in some cases, it causes irreparable side effects to the skin. While it is imperative to choose a cosmetic for the skin, one must be conscious that a fertilizer erodes the soil and contrary to this a bio-manure rejuvenates the nutrients and nourishes the oil. Instead of getting caught to all the marketing  gimmicks which promises overnight success of their products and investing on cosmetics with harmful chemicals, which you will not know, unless you have a Masters Degree in Chemistry, one should opt for the safest natural skin care of taking care of your skin with natural products and easiest is to follow the ABCs of Natural Skin Care.


A healthy diet is very important. Food with antioxidants and nutrients are responsible for eliminating free radicals which are damaging to skill cells. Essential fatty food helps promote healthy cell membranes which act as a barrier. Fatty acids are found in many types of food, including fish and in abundance in salmon. Spinach and other green leafy vegetables are great. Spinach has an unbelievable amount of vitamins.

Protect your skin from the sun as the ultra violet rays are damaging to your skin and to your health. You can apply a natural product based sun tan lotion, wear sunglasses and hat if you really must go out during the sunny hours.

Proper skin cleaning is very important. Cleansing your skin helps to remove all unwanted elements from your skin. Hydrating the skin is very important. Drink a minimum of six to eight glasses of water for a day  the day. Chlorine can be harmful to the skin. Avoid pools on a regular basis. Filtered water from your shower will protect you from being exposed to chemicals in the water. Installation of a filter will eliminate this problem.

Take some ice cubes and rub them all over the face, it increases the blood circulation.

Wrap some ice cubes in muslin and rub gently over and around the eyes for dark shadows around the eyes.
