The Godfather

Widely acknowledged as the best thriller ever, The Godfather tells the story of the Corleone Mafia Family. Vito is the ageing head of the family, and his son, Michael, returns from WWII in time to see the wedding of his sister, and wants to live a normal life. Drug dealer Virgil Sollozzo wants a mafia family to protect him in exchange for a share of his profits, but is rejected by Vito because he is against the use of drugs. Virgil, angered, tries to shoot down Vito, which leads Michael to start a violent war against Virgil, which tears the Corleones apart.

The Dark Knight

'Batman 2' has become a mind - blowing hit among the fans, and for no reason other than its story. Batman, continuing from where he left off in 'Batman Begins', engages the help of Lt. James Gordon and new District Attorney Harvey Dent to rid Gotham city of its criminals, only to see a mysterious character, known only as the Joker, appear and cause havoc. The Joker's not an easy person to deal with, and it takes every single ounce of Batman's wit to confront him. At the same time, a love triangle develops between Batman, Harvey Dent and Batman's long - time girlfriend, Rachel Dawes.

The Godfather II

Picking off from the original Godfather's success, the second installment follows 2 storylines, one of how Vito Corleone becomes a Mafia, and from where the first installment left off. Vito's parents are killed when he was a child, and he managed to escape to NY. He joins with a guy who robs a rich man's house and gets a share of the money. He kills the local thug, becomes the new local thug, and tracks down his parents' killer and kills him. An attempt is made on Michael's life, and investigations reveal that his brother betrayed him, and that Vito's old buddy was behind it. He kills his brother, convinces a person who's about to testify against him to kill himself, and kills Vito's old buddy.

Rear Window

Pro photographer LB 'Jeff' Jeffries is confined to his apartment after breaking his leg while taking a photo at an auto race. As he looks outside his rear window, he suspects that the neighbor living opposite may have murdered his wife, and gets his girlfriend Lisa Freemont and his nurse Stella to investigate on it.

The Usual Suspects

Five big - time conmen are arrested and brought to NY after a truck has been hijacked. They are, obviously, found not guilty, and plan to take revenge on the police. Their plans work fine, until the influence of a big mastermind criminal, called Keyser Soze, is felt. They come to learn that each of them have done some harm to Soze some time or the other, and must now pay. The payback job results in 27 men dead in an exploded boat, but, they start to ask themselves a question: Who exactly is Keyser Soze?
