The authors of usual story writing do not pay much attention to the techniques such as ambiguity, similes, comparisons, the importance of the story and the development of the characters. In addition to that, the attention towards the profound thinking of the philosophy behind the story is lacking or not available. But the stories such as, 'Jane Ayer' 'Mansfield Park' 'Great Gatsby''The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe' which are pieces of literature have their own uniqueness and is free of imitation. The style depicts the individuality of the writer.

The poetry books are written for different ages and different topics. There are literary pieces among the poems written in every era. The poetry of classics carries ambiguity, which intensify the value of the poem. The poetic techniques in literary pieces could be stated as; the world of the poem, repetitions, onomatopoeia, alliterations, assonance, rhyme, rhythm etc. The different poets carry their own way of presenting poems. The great poet 'William Wordsworth' wrote many poems to make the reader worship nature. He was admired as a 'nature poet'. John Dryden wrote metaphysical poems. Almost every poet wrote at least one love poem, since there is no literature without love.
The aspect of drama in the literature was enhanced during the time of 'William Shakespeare'. The dramas such as 'Romeo and Juliet' 'Hamlet' 'Macbeth' carry one story on superficies and another profound message or criticism of human weaknesses, profoundly.
