The Right Kind of Computer For Your Requirements

When buying a computer the first and foremost thing you need to do and need to know is why you are buying the computer. There are many reasons why an individual will buy a computer. It could be for learning purposes, information, communication, programming, graphics, animation, gaming, entertainment, business purposes and so on.

Let's take learning as our first example. If you are starting to learn about computers then it will not be wise to buy a very expensive computer. It's advisable that you buy a second hand computer, if you can. Learning to use a computer comes with experience and experimentation. So when you are using the computer you need to explore the computer and try to do and figure as much sense out of it as possible. When you are doing so you are bound to make major mistakes, so it is not wise to buy a very expensive computer for learning purposes.

If you are buying a computer for information and communication then you need to buy a fairly good computer. If you're planning on buying a good broad band internet connection (high speed internet connection) then your computer needs to have a good processor speed, good memory and hard disk capacity, a good mother board which can handle the load, good speakers and mikes and a good network card.

If you are an expert programmer or graphic designer then most probably there is no need tell you what kind of computer you need to buy, but since you are reading this article I will consider you to be relatively new to the trade. If you are planning to do a bit of graphics and animation then you have to buy a very good computer. You will need a RAM and a hard disk which has a very big capacity. You will need a very good graphics card, good speakers, mouse and keyboard. A very good mother board with a high FSB rate (FSB is the rate at which the mother board communicates with the cards), a good UPS (preferably with a built in stabilizer) and a very fast processor.

If you are buying a computer to play games, then again you will have to buy a high end computer. Most of the computer games that come out now require the best computers in the market. So if you buy any computer with less than the required requirements then most probably you will not be able to play the game on your computer.

So as you can see buying a computer is no joke. There are many things you need to consider and know before you go and buy a computer. If you are not an expert in computer equipment then it is advisable that before you buy the computer you ask someone who will know what exactly you will need in the computer. Buying a computer is an excellent choice provided that you know what you're doing and what you need.
