WATER PARKS:

Water-based theme parks have become a great place to enjoy for families. Especially for children they have a lot of funny rides and slides to offer, and the roller-coaster rides are greatly popular even among adults.

Swimming pool is a safe place to enjoy with children, as there are lifeguards around. Even smaller kids can enjoy in the baby pools, with flotation devices to keep them afloat.

To enjoy all the facilities at the Water Park, the family needs to be geared up in terms of your bathing suits, sun shades, sun-screen cream, lip cream, towels and an extra set of clothes for changing later.

ON THE BEACH WITH FAMILY:

If you love the sea, then there is no greater way to enjoy the water than swimming at the beach. Your whole family can have a lot of fun at the beach, if only you take the due precautions and follow the safety rules on the beach.

Do not take very small kids into the water, while the older children also must know their swimming skills very well. Also ensure that a lifeguard is present around, while your own supervision is also a must all the time.

If you can take care of yourselves with the safety rules, and stay within the designated swimming area, then your beach vacation with family is sure to be the most memorable time of your life.

For a great time on your beach vacation, make sure that you select the right accommodation for the family, check out the weather conditions in advance, and pack your stuff carefully so that you do not miss on any essentials.

FAMILY CRUISE TRIP:

To enjoy a cruise with family, you have to select such a cruise trip that caters to the entire family, and offers ample facilities for kids to enjoy the cruise. Any good family cruise includes swimming pools with funny kid stuff like water slides and games.

Some popular cruise destinations for families include the Disney World in Florida, and the exotic islands of the Caribbean and Hawaii. Some European cruises are also specially designed for families.

FAMILY GAMES THAT YOU CAN PLAY IN A SWIMMING POOL:

SCAVENGER HUNT: Dive in the pool to hunt for a ring, or a spoon.

DUCK HIT: Form two teams, and try to target each other with soft rubber balls that float in the pool.

PING PONG SCRAMBLE: Float 2 or 3 dozen table-tennis balls in the pool, and divide the family into two teams who must collect as many balls as possible within the fixed time limit.

CENTIPEDE CRAWLING: Divide into two teams at two ends of the pool, with the strong swimmers in lead positions. Each swimmer holds a foot of his next team member with one hand, and the two teams race to the middle of the pool like a giant centipede crawling.
