Nascar Fans and Nascar

So what does the community think and feel about NASCAR? Does everyone have the same view about NASCAR? Is it wise to put forward a statement as who doesn’t like NASCAR?

Many may feel that all Americans world wide share the craze for NASCAR. But there are some who may not share this point of view. Maybe it could be the noise, Maybe some don’t like the sport because of the crashes and risk involved, even death. Maybe some may feel like it is a waste of expensive gasoline. Some may not see the point in going round and round in circles, making left turns for two and a half hours or and maybe even more. These crowds of people imagine that when put side by side with other sports which involves being racked up or striking a ball that is breaking, that NASCAR is missing something in great measures.

Yet there is a crowd which argues that the above is not a possible feat without enormous endurance and skill. They admire the endurance and skill of the participants. The individuals racing strategy is a much talked and admired factor among fans.

NASCAR has adopted many tactics, which are seen by some of the community as dishonesty. Even the history of NASCAR talks about how it was born out of dishonesty. Adding to this factor is the fact, how honest or rather dishonest the governing body of NASCAR is. Race fixing is such a well known secret, which takes away all thrills in the race. NASCAR’s unstable rules have also annoyed few fans, as they have get fed up with the frequent rule changes when it comes to NASCAR races.

NASCAR also involves many practical activities some times in the middle of the race like changing tyres, and filling up the fuel tank. This may not be such an attractive situation to the viewers, besides the difficulties drivers face at these moments, it also discourages viewers who may feel that they can go to a tyre shop to see them changing tyres. In the same line, filling the fuel tank at top speed is not much of an entertaining activity to look and cheer on in the middle of a hot, top speed, dangerous sport.

These are few of the views of a small section of the community. Just as every human being is different, so are his attitudes, views and opinions. And it is the same for NASCAR. Although all Americans may be together as one, when it comes to NASCAR they have the right to express their honest views regarding the sport.
