If you fall under the first body type (Endomorph), you have a larger number of fat cells than the average person and thus have an increased capacity for fat storage. You will be likely to have a wide waist and a larger bone structure. If you fall into this category it will be a bit difficult to loose your body weight. But it is not an impossible task.
If you fall under the second category (Mesomorp), you are one of the lucky ones. You can loose fat easily and build muscles with ease. You can be identified as having large bones, solid torso and low fat levels. Wide shoulders and narrow waist are one of your characteristics. You would most probably be naturally lean, muscular and athletic.
And the last category (Ectomorp), are the ones who are slim and have a fast metabolism. You can be recognized by long arms and legs, short upper body, narrow shoulders, and long thin muscles. You have a very low fat storage capacity.
Like most people, you will discover you are a combination of two body types. Based on what body type you fall into, the fitness routine required to be healthy will differ.
If you are an Endomorph, to be healthy and fit, exercise and healthy food is a must. Junk, oily and processed food must be avoided at all cost. Resistance training is required to boost your metabolism and cardio/aerobic exercise is necessary to stay lean. Also avoid over sleeping and you can become fit in no time.
For a Mesomorph to be fit and healthy it only requires more discipline in your lifestyle and it will help you reach your fullest potential. Train hard and watch your diet, and occasional junk food is not a big problem to maintain your weight.
If you are an Ectomorph, regular workout is necessary to maintain your muscles. 5 to 6 meals of high calorie food on a daily basis is a must because of the high metabolism in your body. You must get plenty of sleep, and indulge in shorter high intensity workouts.
Remember what ever the body type you are, it is you who create the end result. Your lifestyle will determine how fat, thin, fit or weak you are.
