Some of the most refined leisure opportunities can be found in Portland at any time of the year. There are performing arts places such as the Oregon Ballet Theater, Oregon Symphony, Portland Center State and Portland Opera that are excellent facilities for quality entertainment for the city. The city is also home to numerous festivals, including the famous Beer fest known as the Oregon Brewers Festival. Shopping is another nice option in the city, with some very well known shopping areas downtown Portland.
