5 reasons why dentists say veneers are more effective than other treatment

Natural Appearance
A porcelain veneer in particular has much to recommend it since the quality of the substance provides a look almost exactly like a natural tooth. This naturally could not be expected to be the case with heavy smokers or those who imbibe quantities of red wine habitually or use tobacco, caffeine and tea.

Porcelain Tolerance
While other substance may not be taken to quite as kindly, the gum tissues of the mouth tends to have a high tolerance level for porcelain.
Durability
Although veneers are made of porcelain or a composite material, they are generally extremely durable. The resin substance that goes into the composite veneer is not prone to cracking and similar hazards. Additionally, the porcelain that is bonded onto a hard substance which is the tooth, is surprisingly strong and long-lasting because of the support. Dentists place the life of veneers at anything between 10 and 15 years – sometimes even more with careful usage.
These are some of the reasons why cosmetic dentists consider the use of veneers a better choice than other forms of dental bonding, to achieve an attractive set of teeth.
