Enhancing breast size using a prosthetic implant made of a silicone rubber shell filled with either silicone gel or saline solution.

Select a qualified and experienced surgeon and become educated about all of the risks and benefits in advance.
Q. How is a breast augmentation surgery performed?
I perform the surgery in an outpatient surgery center through a 3 cm incision beneath the breast. The implant is placed into a pocket created surgically beneath the pectoralis major muscle behind the breast.
Q. Who is a good candidate for breast augmentation?
Any female patient over the age of 18 who is without major health risks.
Q. What are the risks associated with breast augmentation?
Bleeding, infection, capsular contracture, asymmetry, implant malposition, implant deflation, and need for revisionary surgery are the main risks.
Q. What is the recovery time for breast augmentation?
3-4 days out of work, 1-2 weeks for exercise, and 2-3 months to return to all normal activities.
