With the many years that have passed with parents and children suffering from learning disabilities, all has not been a waste in the side of research and advances in the field of learning difficulties.

Technology is used with the purpose of improving one or more impairments of the learning disabled individuals. In these methods, the most commonly used technology is computers that speak in order to help students with reading disabilities, translating information so that it is meaningful for them. There are soft wares that allow individuals with writing disabilities to use specialized software that spell checks and grammar checks can help improve their writing skills. These can be educational games presented in enjoyable manners for students.

Researchers have taken great steps in understanding the inner workings of the brain,. This finding holds the key for the creation of additional innovative treatment for learning disabilities.

Also it has been found that it brings positive results when taking the time to identify the individuals / child’s primary learning style and using it to maximize their ability to understand information. This can help the individual / child reach their optimal potential
