The only way to eliminate the source is to remove it (i.e.: Root Canal Therapy). However, the pain medications and the antibiotics are a vital part of the procedure.

A. If the tooth nerve is dying out and causing problems you have two choices
1 ) Root Canal and Restoration-Saving the tooth
2 ) Extraction or removing the tooth
