How pleasantly surprised I was to be pain free after the implant procedure. I thought I would be in a lot more pain than I actually was. I did not feel any pain during the procedure and did not need pain medication after the surgery, the entire process was painless. Recovery has been a non-event. The stitches started to fall out before the week was over. There was very little swelling and it was not noticeable. During a follow-up visit, the doctor made an adjustment to my existing dentures and the swelling stopped. Eating was and is an adventure. During the first week after surgery, I had to limit my food to liquids gradually trying semi-solids and soft foods. Now that my surgery is a month old, I am able to eat as I normally do. Had I known how easy and painless this procedure was I would have done it years ago. All-in-all, as dental procedures go, this was not an un-nerving experience.

I've lived with crowding on my upper and lower teeth all my life and I needed braces. Being the procrastinator I am, I waited until I became an adult to try to do something about the game of Twister going on with my teeth. While pursuing my acting career, I did not want to be caught on camera with a metal mouth; let's face it, metal mouths are adorable on adolescents.not adults (just my opinion). Anyhow, I contacted numerous dentists and it was something about Esthetic Dentistry that stood out to me. Not only were they conveniently located, they were welcoming, competitively priced and their facility was neat and clean. Dr. Lee handled my Invisalign case and she walked me through every step of the way. I tell ya, those braces are awesome and they provided a way for me to beautify myself while chasing an on camera career. Dr. Lee is expertly skilled in the Invisalign innovation and kudos to them both for providing my camera friendly smile; you guys ROCK!
