An Interview with Dr. Scott Kramer on Restylane and Perlane.

Dr. Scott Kramer is a Gynecologist and has answered some common questions that Bizymoms visitors have about Restylane and Perlane.

Q.  How long is the recovery period after Restylane and Perlane treatment?

A.  This depends on technique and all our injectors each have over 6 years experience in cosmetic medicine.  Usually a few days for wrinkle filling and volumizing areas like cheeks where a person notices mild swelling and flushing. Rarely bruising.   Lip plumping might take a few more because of swelling.

Q.  How long will it be before the results can be seen?

A.  What makes filler treatments so satisfying for both patients and professionals is the results are instantaneous.

Q.  How long will the results last?

A.  Fillers like Restylane and Perlane are in a class called hyaluronic acid, a natural constituent of skin that binds water like a sponge to plump skin, which will last about 6-12 months.

Q.  What is the difference between Restylane and Perlane?

A.  Restylane is good for filling wrinkles and plumping lips. It’s also great to fill hollow, sunken tear troughs.  Perlane is for volumizing cheeks, or filling in deep wrinkles like scowl lines so that the corners of your lips will slightly turn up.

Q.  How can we contact Dr. Kramer if we have further questions?

A.  At Rēnu we believe a well-informed patient makes the best decisions for herself.  We offer complimentary consultations calling 925.828.1010. More information about our practice is online at www.RenuLaserSpa.com . My email is Scott@RenuLaserSpa.com.
