A Skillet full of Cookies Back to Home

Crunchy slices of a cookie would be perfect for any occasion. Treat your kids and friends to this fantastic giant cookie and offer them slices when at home.  You can also let children take a giant one home to their family after a play session. A fantastic recipe that your kids will want to show off to their friends!

A Skillet full of Cookies
Makes 1 giant cookie, 16 slices

1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 & 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large bowl, use a mixer to cream together the white and brown sugars, and the butter until smooth. Beat in vanilla and add eggs one at a time.

Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Dough will be stiff.

Using a large spoon, stir in the chocolate chips.

Spray a 10-inch skillet (with an ovenproof metal or wooden handle) with nonstick cooking spray. Pat cookie dough into skillet and bake approximately 30 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

Cool for 15 minutes, then slice.
