Wiki Wachee Roll-Ups Back to Home

Roll-up your sleeves kiddos and roll your tastebuds over these fantastic rolls! This cheesy recipe with colorful vegetables will give your children all the energy and nutrition they need without having to watch them mumble and fumble about tasteless snacks! Watch yourself transform from a “Same-old-Mom” to a “Fab-Snacks-Mom.”

Wiki Wachee Roll-Ups
Serves 4-6

Ingredients
4  ten-inch whole wheat tortillas
1/2 cup softened cream cheese
½ teaspoon dried chives
½ cup hummus
1 cup shredded carrots
½ cup sprouts
½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
4 leaves of romaine lettuce, thinly sliced
½ cup crumbled feta or shredded mozzarella cheese

Let’s Start Mixing!

1. In a mixing cup, combine cream cheese with dried chives. Using a small spatula or off-set spatula, spread the cream cheese evenly over each tortilla within 1 inch of the outer edge.

2. Follow with a thin layer of hummus on top of the cream cheese.

3. Follow with a layer of carrots, sprouts, tomatoes, and lettuce. Sprinkle with feta cheese or Mozzarella cheese. Carefully roll- up each tortilla. Wrap each roll completely in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve.

4. To serve, slice each roll into 3 sushi style pieces.
