Finger Lickin’ Drumsticks
2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup packed light-brown sugar
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
4 pounds chicken drum sticks
Let’s Start Shaking!
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Lline two rimmed cookie sheets with foil. Spray each lightly with cooking spray and set aside until ready to use.
1. In a medium size bowl, whisk together all ingredients except chicken drumsticks. Use 1 cup sauce for coating the uncooked chicken, and save the remainder for the baked chicken.
2. Pour 1 cup of sauce into a large ziploc bag. Place 4-6 drumsticks inside the bag, seal securely, and shake gently to coat drumsticks. Remove drumsticks one at a time from plastic bag (letting excess sauce drip back into the bag) and place on prepared cookie sheets. Continue until all pieces have been coated.
3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, remove from oven, and drizzle with 1/4 - 1/2 cups of reserved sauce.
4. Serve the chicken with remaining sauce. |
