Can you Fondue? Back to Home

Let your kids have fun with some fondue. This is an interesting recipe that will keep your kids and their friends awake all night fondue-ing! Before you know it, the little ones’ slumber party will turn into a “fondue” party…

Can you Fondue?
Makes 4 to 6 servings

1/4 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Fruit (bananas, apples, pineapple, strawberries), washed and sliced or cut into bite-size pieces
Large marshmallows
Pound cake or angel food cake, cut into bite-size pieces

Heat semisweet or milk chocolate chips and cream in a microwave-safe dish for 1 minute. Stir and heat again for another 30 seconds.

Remove bowl from microwave and stir in vanilla. Transfer to a fondue pot, a 2-to-4-cup slow cooker, or a small decorative bowl.

Melt white chocolate chips for 30 seconds in microwave. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top of warm fondue.

Using fondue forks or wooden bamboo skewers, dip fruits, marshmallows, and pieces of cake into fondue.
