Have you completed your diploma or degree, or are you just after school? What you want next would be to find a good job. You could find jobs locally in the public sector as well as in the private sector. However, finding yourself a job locally would not be as easy as you think. The reason for this is because the job you want (tasks you expect) may not match the job you get. This is why people choose to go for jobs abroad.
The main reason why people choose to work abroad is because they get paid well; well enough to lead a good and comfortable life. For example, many South Asians look for job placements in Europe, America or Australia mainly because the remuneration they get by Working Abroad is far higher than what they get paid at home.
Another reason why people choose to go abroad is with the idea of settling down in that particular country. One main reason for this is because the living conditions may be unsatisfactory in their homeland coupled with other problems such as political instability and financial crisis.
There are plenty of people who are highly talented and gifted who may be a huge resource (or asset) to the world. However, due to certain limitations in countries, they might be just beautiful flowers that fade in undiscovered forests. For example, there are plenty of talented people in Asia, who do not gain the exposure and opportunity that they would have got, had they been in Europe or America. Hence, those who realize this, choose to go abroad and thereafter make maximum use of their potential.
One advantage of Working Abroad is that he or she would be able to learn more about new cultures, languages, religions, customs, and rituals. This would give them a very good idea of how things work outside their own country. For example, getting to know cultures such as the Japanese culture would help one to win more deals.
Another advantage is that by Working Abroad, you will be able to visit more and more places and would also be able to meet new people who would prove useful in the future.
Getting yourself the much needed and expected exposure by Working Abroad would prove very useful for your career since the experience gained is unmatchable.
However, Working Abroad is not as wonderful as you think. You will face a lot of challenges such as influence from people who are racists and laws on foreigners in the country you are going to work, in addition to having to stay far away from one’s homeland, thus losing contact with your loved ones. Plus, if you are planning to save your hard earned money, you will have to do things yourself. For example, laundry and cooking will have to be done by yourself since you will have to spend a lot if you intend to get them from outside.
Whatever it is, Working Abroad is recommended by most people since the exposure and money earned as a result of doing so is unmatchable, compared to you working in your homeland. Think twice and make the right choice.
