In recent years, the job market has changed rapidly with various industrial changes based on the needs and demands of general public. Out of these, some significant changes have happened relating to security, law and order around the globe due to the increased percentage of crime.
For one reason or the other, many countries have found the need to increase the number of officials in the fields of security, law and order. This has reflected in the number of jobs available in this area.
With public panic over general crime and terrorism increasing, the number of security personnel needed to ensure safety has increased thus bringing about the need for private security establishments to grow and become one of the fastest growing industries in the U.S.
The same need has arisen due to the increase of massive shopping complexes thus reducing the street shops. This has reduced the general need of police officers but increased the need of private security officers to overlook many aspects such as ensuring order and security in the premises, monitoring of security camera’s and ensuring any suspicious activities are checked or avoided.
Business communities such as banks, malls, offices and public places are increasing the security measures thus creating the need for more job opportunities in this area. Even among the wealthy it has become a common need to hire a private security officer(s). These include ground patrol, screen visitors, monitor suspicious activities through close circuit televisions and control entrances.
Apart from these private eyes or detectives specialized in many areas have entered the industry and is being used by government organizations due to the price factor and ability to recruit only when needed. This also adds to the major development of the industry and the subsequent increase of the number of jobs available in security and protection of law and order. This means that it also increases the need for the training of security officers thus adding more opportunities in the job market.
