People in this world have different thoughts and views and that is because each and every person is different and therefore is unique. This applies to the topic in concern too. Everybody, as a child, has an ambition, which is a dream of becoming some personality. You might recall a number of instances where your parents, relatives and friends asked what you want to be when you grow big.

 

Every person wants to be someone in this world and this ambition or goal is what drives them towards achieving it. Most of the successful individuals and personalities today are those who have had a childhood ambition and have pursued it. This article aims to explain some of the reasons and what caused you as a small child to decide on an ambition.

 

You may have heard children saying that “I want to become a doctor when I’m big” or “I want to become an Engineer when I’m 22”, or something similar to that. One main reason why children think in such a manner is because that’s what their parents want them to be and hence that’s what is always said to this child. Hence, this gets registered in their minds and hence they decide that they want to become such a personality.

 

Some children however, decide on their own. They would observe certain people in the society (mainly doctors, teachers or businessmen) and once those characters are perceived (by the child) to be good and interesting, then the child would want to become such a personality. Hence he/she would work accordingly towards achieving it.

 

Some children, on the other hand has a set family background, which leads them to becoming a good professional. For Example, a child whose parents are doctors or teachers would most probably become such personalities when they grow big since they have that atmosphere laid out when they were small. This background would set the child’s mentality so as to become such a personality once he grows big.

 

However, it is a fact that most people have not continued to follow their childhood dreams and make it a reality. But, researchers and psychologists say that childhood dreams and ambitions are truly the best and most successful of all since a child chooses a field or profession because of his passion and desire to it. Hence, if the dream of becoming what you want to be turns out to be a reality, that person in concern would be of great quality and integrity.
