Welcome To Jackson Leisure
Music and other forms of leisure are a part of life in Jackson. Music is the heart and soul of the city, with many eminent musicians hailing from here, and it is also home to the world famous Malaco Records recording studios. The Thalia Mara Hall in the city hosts the USA International Ballet Competition. There are other periodic cultural events in the city such as the Celtic Fest, Crossroads Film Festival, Jubilee Jam, Festival Latino and Mississippi State Fair.
