Help can be obtained from the Better Business Bureau. People are encouraged to make complaints about any organization which has treated them unfairly. You can call them up and ask them about the number of complaints made recently. If there has been an unusually high number of complaints' then you have plenty of reason to suspect that the website is a scam. The Better Business Bureau is a real boon in that you don’t have to lose money to realize that something is a scam.
It is your duty to do a proper check on any of these websites before working with them. Do they have genuine testimonials? Try to contact these people or organizations to verify these testimonials.
Forums are a great place to obtain assistance. There are plenty of people who will give you valuable advice. You can get in touch with people who have been similarly scammed. You can also get advice with regard to any particular opportunity by asking some specific questions. Most of the people in these forums are very helpful people. |
