Q. What is your policy on surgical revisions?
A. If the revision is for work that I did there is no charge, if it is to repair work done by another surgeon the fees are dependent on the complexity of the procedure and risk involved in the procedure.
Q. Does hair transplant look Natural?
A. Always, contemporary hair restoration surgery is done by moving one follicular unit, 1 to 4 hairs, at a time, they heal fast, with minimal, almost no scar, and look very natural.
Q. How long does it take to recover from hair transplant surgery?
A. My average patient is back to work on the 4th post operative day. If the surgery is done on Thursday, most return to work on Monday or Tuesday.
Q. What are the types of hair transplants you perform?
A. All types. I have been doing this so long, I have experience with virtually all of the technologies. Indeed I mix techniques when necessary to customize to the patient’s needs.
Q. Are the options for combating Hair loss in men different from women?
A. Absolutely, 99.9% of hair loss in males is inherited Androgenetic loss. Only about 50% of women have inherited hair loss, the others need careful evaluation to determine what the cause of the loss is, and its best treatment, in other words women are more complex. I have a lot of experience with female pattern loss, about 30% of my practice is evaluating and treating female pattern hair loss.
Q. Are there complications or risks in a hair transplant?
A. Very rarely. Less than 0.25% of my patients have a problem, and it has been 20 years since a complication reduced the quality of outcome from a procedure.
