I guess I’m going to date myself here, but do you remember the Monroe brothers, Ralph and Alf, from the old show Green Acres? Ralph Monroe was the original “handy woman.” Actually, I think she was the brains of the construction duo… had her hammer on her hip at all times!

Good ‘ole Ralph paved the way for all of the brave handy women to follow. She proved it’s OK for women to hammer a nail and wallpaper a wall. If you share Ralph’s desire to dive into new renovation project every week, maybe you should consider starting a business and redecorating on someone else’s dime.
