Lango offers engaging Spanish, French and Mandarin classes for young children and is looking for dynamic, motivated individuals to bring our program to their communities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interesting in owning and running their own business, teaching Foreign Language for Kids, using a proven business model. When you become a Lango Leader, not only will you develop a steady income stream teaching Foreign Language for Kids, but you’ll be able to work from your home, make your own schedule, work with kids of all ages, and do something good for the world.<
Lango was established in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently operates children’s Spanish, French and Mandarin classes in 44 communities across the country. Lango uses a proprietary curriculum, teacher training process and operating model and Lango classes use a dynamic approach to teaching new languages to kids known as Adventure-Based Learning©.
Lango is a member of Intrax Cultural Exchange, a family of organizations devoted to cultural exchange and international education, with operations in over 60 countries. Since 1980, Intrax has provided international education experiences to more than 40,000 students and families. |

Interest/Skills |
Lango Leaders will bring various strengths, skills and experiences. Not all Lango Leaders need speak a second language. However, all Lango Leaders should offer a passion for teaching
Foreign Language for Kids, as well as a willingness to tell everyone they know about this passion. Lango Leaders should also be well-connected in their communities, interested in running a small business from home, and great at communicating with kids and adults. Ideally, Lango Leaders are also fluent in Spanish, French or Mandarin and crazy about teaching kids themselves, but speaking a second language is not required. |

Selling Methods |
Leaders will sell directly to interested families in their community and to local schools. Word-of-mouth buzz at local school events and through contact with other parents has proven successful for other leaders. Leaders may also establish relationships with local retail facilities where Lango,
Foreign Language for Kids classes will be held. |

Start-Up Costs |
For a low initial investment (approximately $5,000 in startup costs), Lango Leaders receive everything they need to start a Lango program in their communities.
Investment costs incurred in starting a Lango Foreign Language for Kids program include:
- One-time licensing fee: $500
- Tuition to attend Lango Leader Training, which includes teacher training: $1,000
Upon starting their programs, Lango Leaders pay the following fees:
- $3.75 per session, per student licensing fee
- Ongoing royalty of 10-15% of revenues |

Lango Leaders receive the following:
Exclusive right to operate Lango Foreign Language for Kids classes in their regions, including the right to use all trademarked logos, brands and images
Multi-day training in operating a Lango program and teaching Lango classes
Lango’s proprietary curriculum
Lango’s operating model, including our Operations Manual, which provides all information relevant to running a Lango Foreign Language for Kids program
Marketing support through web-based advertising and Lango’s centralized website, as well as customizable marketing collateral
Access to Lango’s online registration and student management system
A customizable website to help market your business to your community
Ongoing support from Lango’s leadership team
