Personally I get a bit lazy. I'll be honest. Sometimes convenience wins over green.

I was as Home Depot the other night and spotted a new paint. It was marketed as environmentally friendly and does not contain VOC. I think that is what the term is. There was a lady buying a couple of gallons while I was buying the smelly stuff. She said it works great and there is no smell. I should have been buying that because my poor bird has been stuck in a room at one end of the house while we paint a room at the other. However they did not have as many colors and I know that Behr Paint covers great. So in this case I did not go green. I went with what I know works.
