For more than two years, Tina has shared her life through journaling her daily meals on her blog “Carrots 'N' Cake.” Each day, she strives to find the right balance without losing out on fun or good taste. Tina also writes a weekly feature for Health.com and directs the social strategy for a nutritional rating company called NuVal. She is currently writing her first book, which will be published in the Spring of 2011.
1. What motivated you to start your fabulous blog on delicious food and nutrition?
I was recently engaged and wanted to look great on my wedding day, so I started my blog as personal journal to keep me on track with eating well and exercising
2. Out of the all recipes on your blog, which is your favorite and why?

3. What kinds of health problems respond to nutritional intervention?
Eating well benefits you from the inside out. I think if people paid more attention to what foods they put into their bodies, a number of health problems could be prevented.
4. What nutritious food and fitness programs do you use to maintain your figure and health?
I don't use a food and fitness program. I live by an 80/20 rule: healthy, nutritious 80% of the time and fun, not-so-good for you foods 20% of the time. Life is all about balance.
