1. Herbal Infusions
Herbal infusions are a really good healthy drink because it has a really high mineral content. Herbal infusions can be consumed either warm or cold and can even be used as a substitute for water if you're bored of drinking it!
2. Raw milk from grass - fed cows
Raw milk is a great way to get some protein, calcium and some good fat into your body. If you don't prefer raw milk or find it difficult to get hold of, your next best alternative would be pasteurized whole milk.
3. Non - dairy milks
A lot of non - dairy milks can be obtained easily, such as soy milk, rice milk and hemp milk, However, I would not recommend consuming soy milk because it's processed a lot and not really natural. I personally prefer hemp milk because it's really creamy and is a great thing to use to sweeten your tea or coffee.
4. Kombucha
Kombucha is a fizzy drink which has a high level of probiotics and vitamin B. You can make some yourself or get it off-the-shelf. However, it can be quite expensive. It's a really great energy drink, and can increase your levels of digestion and immunity.
5. Natural sodas
If you really find it hard to give up your fizzy drinks, natural sodas may be a better alternative. Look for the ones which have been naturally sweetened and have no high-fructose corn syrup at all. The fruit - flavoured sodas made by Izze are really tasty, and are a real favourite among children.
6. Sobe Vitamin Water
The chamomile flavoured water is what is really good for you. It has a whole load of vitamins, even vitamin B! You could find sobe vitamin water in your grocery store for about a dollar, and it does a load of good if you get heavy cramps.
7. V - Fusion drinks (V8)
These drinks are one of the few modern drinks that incorporate a lot of vegetable juices which have antioxidants while also giving you your daily dose of fruits and veggies. All of this while having a superb taste!
8. Teas
A lot of people know about Green Tea, but people don't know enough about the other types of teas. Most teas contain antioxidants which help your body out. In addition to tasting really good, tea is a good cure for the common cold. Peppermint tea is good for bad stomachs or runny noses.
9. Water
Do I have to actually tell you about the importance of water? Water helps you to purify your body and helps you to kill off toxins and waste. Make sure you get at least 1 - 2 litres of water into your body every day!
10. Blueberry Juice
Though most stores don't stock on blueberry juice, you should realize that blueberries have a lot of energy and antioxidants. You can easily make yourself some blueberry juice by blending some. A blueberry smoothie can be really tasty! |
