A really popular drink in the UK, it is drunk everywhere possible from all the bars in popular hotels to the really popular English pubs. You can make it a pink gin by putting some Angostura bitters, if you're having one during lunch on a Sunday!

This one's synonymous with the Big Apple, and was made really popular by Carrie Bradshaw and company in the extremely famous 'Sex and the City' drama and movie
Caipirinha
This drink is from Rio de Janeiro and is the national cocktail of the country, and is definitely the cocktail that the girl from Ipanema and her socializing bunch are gulping down. Caipirinha is made from Cachaca and distilled sugarcane juice and mixed with fresh lime juice and sugar and is most enjoyed when consumed while on the rocks!
The Watermelon Man
Berlin makes no bones about the fact that having some beer is a pastime a lot of people enjoy, but if you're making a trip to a club or a pub, make sure you get your hands on a Watermelon Man, which is made from vodka and some watermelon liqueur.
Sex on the Beach
Yes, indeed, the name does sound odd, but don't catch yourself saying that in Ibiza, Spain! If you aren't gulping down some Sangria, make sure you let your tongue have a taste of Sex on the Beach, a mixture of some peach schnapps, orange & cranberry juice, crome de cassis and some vodka to top it off!
Elephant's Ear
This absolutely tasty cocktail is derived by using mainly the fruit of the African Amarula tree in South Africa. Elephants and other such animals are very well known to have a real overdose of this fruit and get really intoxicated in the forest. It's generally served with a couple of slices of dried mango to get the 'ears' effect!
The Pisco Sour
This one's a favourite in Lima, Peru, and is prepared by mixing grape liquer, brandy with syrup, lemon juice, the white cover of eggs and bitters. An American by the name of Victor Morris is said to have founded the Pisco Sour in the 1920s.
The Singapore Sling
This drink is something you should definitely try out when you're in Singapore. The Singapore Sling has an equal amount of gin, cherry brandy and Benedictine, which is then shaken and put into a Collins glass and finished off by putting club soda to the rim. This drink was created by a barman in the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel, which is undoubtedly a really famous tourist landmark!
