Drink more water to keep your body hydrated and healthy. Water is the most essential nutrient your body needs because of the nutitional value and minerals it contains.

Water, a liquid which is given to us by nature, forms a huge part of our body. To be more precise, 2/3 of your body weight consists of water. To give you further examples of how much a part of our body water is, 83% of our blood is water, 75% of muscles is water, 75% of brain and 22% of bones. Water is extremely important for human beings if they are to survive, as it makes sure that our body functions smoothly.

A deficiency of water in our body will ensure that you dehydrate, thereby posing a lot of barriers for the proper circulation of your blood. The intensity of the problem goes up as it weakens the brain and your body gets all tired and you feel a lot of pain. When dehydration increases, you may develop some unnecessary health disbenefits such as thirst, sunken eyes, lack of tears and restless behavior.

Once the level of dehydration increases, your face can look flush, your skin becomes dry, urine will be a dark yellow and have a bad stench, and you'll suffer from bouts of dizziness, weakness and some headaches.

A further increase in dehydration will result in low BP, fainting, weak pulse, and even possibly heart failure. How can you avoid dehydration? You need to be drinking liquids constantly. This does not mean drinking fizzy stuff or unhealthy drinks. I would recommend the drinking of a lot of water, typically about 1 - 2 litres of water a day. Also, you should drink your water in small sips so that you can replenish the amount of salt that your body needs at all times.

There are a whole load of advantages of drinking water, some of which you may have never imagined existed, so let's have a look at them.

Water serves as a natural remedy to pave the way for a glowing and shining skin. The benefits to the skin obtained by drinking water can be pointed to the fact that water acts a material which purifies your body by removing toxins and any water and unnecessary material from your body. People who have a serious weight problem and are fed up with going on diets, only to see them not working, can consume some hot lemon water which can work wonders in quickly reducing the weight of your body. It also serves to keep you heart in a good state.
