Ameriplan - Independent Business Owner

I am a stay-at-home mother to Timothy, Jr. and work my AmeriPlan® business around my family's schedule. I came across AmeriPlan® one day when I was looking for another job or stay-at-home opportunity. My boss and my commute were really stressful and my son had been sick the previous two weeks with two different illnesses contracted from his daycare. I decided to make a drastic change to my life, for me, and for my son.

Since I was working as a Senior Benefits Manager, I knew that this opportunity was not only needed in this country, but something I felt very passionate about. Once I decided that this was the opportunity I had been looking for, I gave my two weeks’ notice, and signed up later that evening.

I knew that our family would be able to make ends meet while I worked on my business, and being able to stay home with our son was really important to me. I just never thought I would find something I could do at home that I would truly believe in and be excited about. I had been researching other stay-at-home possibilities, but selling health products or vacations wasn't something I was excited about. The possibility had to be something that would be fulfilling both intellectually and financially. AmeriPlan® fit my needs and I couldn't wait to get started.

Interest/Skills
No experience or licenses are required. You must be comfortable talking on the phone and using a computer. It is required that you attend a 1 1/2 hour orientation call. It is in the evenings and is offered a couple of different times during the week. It is also recorded online so you can listen to it from your computer at any time. You can call into it from the comfort of your home. You don't have to go anywhere to attend this meeting.

We're looking for someone who can devote at least 2-3 hours a day to this business (10-20 hours a week). More would be great; if it's less that's okay since we have no quotas; but we're looking for 2-3 hours a day. But remember that you determine when you work-a truly flexible schedule. That’s how you can achieve Freedom at Home.

 
Selling Methods

In a nutshell what we do is we market AmeriPlan® two different ways. You can choose one or both of the positions indicated below:

First Opportunity-Benefit Specialist
We market to people who want to save money on their health benefits. They answer our ad campaign by either calling our toll free number or by registering onto our company web site (my web site is http://www.everyonebenefits.com/kmcbride).  We have four options for people to choose from ranging from only $19.95 a month for an entire household to just $59.95 a month for an entire household.  So you can see how if 70% of all Americans need benefits or a way to save money on their benefit costs, these options are very affordable.

What is a household? A household includes all people living at the household address, regardless of relation.  If a member lives with in-laws or roommates, they can be covered too for as long as they live at the same address.  Insurance plans usually don't allow anyone but immediate family (spouse and children) to be enrolled in their plan, so this is an opportunity for truly non-traditional households to save money on benefits.

The Second Opportunity-Recruiter
We market AmeriPlan®. People, just like you and me, who want to work from their home answer our ad campaign and call our toll free number or they register for more information through our company web site

We then call these people back, spend about 15 minutes talking with them, and see if they're interested. The majority of the people I talk with are women in their 30's with at least 2 children who truly want more family time. These are ladies just like me who are looking for answers just like I was before finding AmeriPlan®.

 
Start-Up Costs

As an independent business owner, you will be provided with the following tools:

  • Our websites, 5 of them that we use in our marketing.
  • Our website for online enrollments and other broker support.
  • Our team tools and our training. I would be your personal mentor to help you with your business. You do not have to re-invent the wheel.
  • The corporate headquarters will service all of your customers for you so you do not have to.
  • You receive accidental death and dismemberment insurance.
  • We offer a 401k plan.
  • We offer direct deposit.
  • Please remember that all of your training is done from the comfort of your home. You will not have to go anywhere to do this business. We have training calls every day of the week and many are in the evenings.
  • As a broker, your household receives the dental, vision, prescription, and chiropractic benefits. You can choose to receive our full medical plan for an additional low fee/month.

Your Broker Kit
We receive a wonderful Broker's Kit from AmeriPlan®. It has all the tools you need to start your business. The corporate office in Dallas has a store where we can purchase additional supplies-like 500 business cards for $20, package of company letter head for $5, etc. You get a lot of materials to start your business immediately and the funny thing is you get $50 more in certificates that allow you to purchase even more materials for your business. What a great value! We really want you to succeed and to be able to have the things you need to start earning that income from home as soon as possible.

There is a small start-up cost to join this business. The initial fee is $95 which includes the first month's broker's fee which includes all the tools listed above, a one-time registration fee and your basic broker's kit. Then it's only a monthly broker’s fee of $50. We owe this to the company every month. What a great value to own a business that is already established and has a name for themselves and which allows you to build a lifetime RESIDUAL income!

Training and Sales Support

You will receive one-on-one support, training from the most successful business owners in the company, access to 24/7 training that you can complete online or over the phone, and a broker customer service group at the headquarters available six days a week. This is all included in your monthly fee.

 
Bonuses or Incentives

You determine when you get a promotion and a raise, not a boss, because YOU are your own boss. If you want to earn more money, you just need to talk to more people.

Once you reach Senior Regional Sales Director and above, you can earn overrides on your downline groups. That means you can get paid for doing nothing, but for the work you have already done in recruiting and encouraging fellow team members to be successful.

Earnings

AmeriPlan® allows us to build up a residual income for ourselves. This residual income is paid monthly and is the same thing as a 'royalty'. We do the job once and we continue to get paid for it. For a membership application for a new customer we earn 30% residual off of any of the four options AmeriPlan® offers. This percentage is off of what the new customer pays to AmeriPlan® for their benefit savings option. Now remember, this is what you get for just typing up their application and submitting it to our corporate office down in Dallas. They service these customers for you.

For a broker application our residual income also starts immediately. You earn 30% residual off of the broker fees of the new brokers you bring into the company. More about this is below.

If you want, you can get a 6 month advance on your residual income for enrolling new members or brokers. Some AmeriPlan® brokers like to do this since they see this advance as a type of commission and then their residual income begins after 6 months.

Every month AmeriPlan® tallies up all the money that they are bringing in for that month which originated with you (e.g. you did the initial application form). They tally it up and they give you 30%. They give you anywhere between $5.99-$17.99 (unless you got paid an advance and that member is still within their first six months). This is for every customer-it doesn't matter if you introduced them into AmeriPlan® years ago, you continue to earn your money. Imagine if you enrolled 10 new customers a month for the next two years...for the next five years, etc.

For all new brokers you earn $15.00 a month. Remember, once you reach Senior Regional Sales Director and above, you can earn a percentage override off of their team! So you see it's not just you working this business. We really are a team of people working together. The majority of your residual income check can come from the efforts of your team members.

This business is yours. You own it. Your paychecks come from AmeriPlanUSA® and will be addressed to you. You can will this to a spouse or your children and then your residual income checks will be addressed to them. It's a way you can leave behind a financial legacy and take care of your family. I don't know of any 'job' that will continue to pay your family once you're gone.
