Marjorie Geiser - Expert in Diet and Nutrition
Marjorie Geiser is a business start-up coach who specializes in helping service professionals create the businesses of their dreams. Her clients come to her full of desire, fear and uncertainty, and by the completion of her program they are not only self-assured and confident, but on their way to building thriving and powerful businesses beyond their imaginations.
Margie started her own business, MEG Fitness, in 1996, providing in-home personal training and nutrition counseling to unfit adults. In 2003, with the business booming, she started to investigate alternative ways to grow the business and discovered life coaching. As a result, she began coaching other fitness and nutrition professionals who wanted to start up a business. In 2005, she returned to school for an MBA in Entrepreneurship, and in 2006, she started MEG Enterprises, Inc, specifically to provide business coaching. As a graduate of the Coach Training Institute, Margie combines her coaching expertise with her business knowledge to create a unique program. She not only helps clients put together the necessary plans to start a business, but also coaches them to dig into themselves to investigate any limiting conversations they have around aspects of business and marketing.
Margie graduated from Loma Linda University in 1990 and is a registered dietitian. She is a student at California State, San Bernardino, studying for her MBA, Entrepreneurship, and plans to graduate in 2009. She is certified through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a NSCA-CPT. She is currently the Chair of the NE Coaches group of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and for 5 years was on the executive committee for NSCA’s Personal Trainer’s Special Interest Group (SIG). She is also part of the ongoing workgroup for the American Council on Exercise (ACE), involved in updating and renewing advanced personal training certificate exams.
