Chances are, if you are reading this, you know exactly why!  You are creative and organized, so someone is always asking you to help plan a wedding or special event.  One week it is your cousin’s wedding that has been in the works for close to two years; the next week your best friend talks you into helping plan a holiday party for a dozen toddlers.  Now your husband’s birthday is coming up and you want to throw a memorable dinner party.  Whether you get paid as a professional consultant or simply find yourself elected to plan events on a regular basis, it is always helpful to see what others are up to as a source of inspiration.

This is how I hope to be of help to you!  My articles and blog entries will focus on the planning, implementation and aftermath of weddings and special events.  I will discuss latest trends, etiquette issues and pulling off fabulous fêtes on a budget!  The more feedback I get from you, the better, as I hope to use the blog entries to address specific questions and situations.  I am a pragmatist at heart, so I will often include “reality check” notes as food for thought you can share with those bridezillas and eventmonsters you are bound to encounter.  So, let’s get this party started!
