Dale McGowan is a parenting author, educator, and national seminar leader.  His book Parenting Beyond Belief was called “a compelling read” by Newsweek and “engaging and down-to-earth” by Library Journal.  His blog “The Meming of Life” focuses on nonreligious parenting and is read by an average of 5,000 visitors per day.  His forthcoming book, titled Raising Freethinkers is due for release in February 2009.  Dale specializes in encouraging kids to question, wonder, and think well.  He lives with his wife and three children in Atlanta.
