The main reason why I love this country is that I have the freedom to write an article about why I love America -- or one about why I do not love America! Of course, the truth is I DO love this country where I was born and raised. But the fact that I can speak my mind and write my opinion without fear and restriction is one of the brightest, most significant reasons why the U.S.A. is grand! America is synonymous with freedom -- we have that magnificent opportunity to write, to feel, to act, to speak, to share, and to just "be." We can set goals and plans -- and know that they can flow powerfully from our hearts without constraint. We can choose, we can dream, and we can reach those dreams with exhilaration. The ability to make choices is the most precious aspect of our "American-ness." We can lose ourselves, find ourselves -- and best of all, we can be our authentic selves. We do not have to hide behind a facade or pretend to be different that who we truly are at our core. We can confidently offer up our real honest self, with both good and bad, both strengths and weaknesses -- and know that we will be acknowledged and accepted. We can look into our genuine hearts and connect with the hearts of others. We can grow in our perspectives and become well-rounded, curious, creative and playful beings. Financial abundance is an aspiration that we can joyfully reach for -- and attain! We are not limited, except by our own personal limiting beliefs. We can imagine, we can build, we can grow, we can thrive, we can prosper -- right here in this amazing land called America. I often write about positive affirmations, transformation and optimistic living. I believe that America itself is a most powerful, uplifting affirmation that encourages us to proudly state: I cherish the freedom to choose my own unique, inspired journey in this glorious land of opportunity!
