A. Tooth whitening is a great technology to make your teeth appear brighter and does not damage the surface.
Q. Who can benefit from teeth whitening?
A. Many patients over the age of 10 can benefit from tooth whitening.
Q. Who should not undergo teeth whitening?
A. Anyone who has porcelain crowns or veneers on their front teeth may not benefit from tooth whitening.
Q. What does tooth whitening involve?
A. Tooth whitening may involve simple impressions for at home trays or it may involve two hours at our office to "kick start" the process.
Q. How long does this take?
A. It may take two hours in our office under the Plasma Arc Light or just 10 minute impressions to fabricate trays to take home.
Q. How much does tooth whitening cost?
A. Tooth whitening usually costs only $250. This includes all of the tubes of gel needed to get your smile bright.
Q. What are the side effects?
A. The side effects may be a mild sensitivity to cold.
