Trade shows

According to Wikipedia.org, “A trade fair (or trade show) is an exhibition organised so that companies in a specific industry can showcase and demonstrate their new products and services.”

Trade shows are an excellent way to see and be seen by others within your industry. Networking at trade fairs can grow your client base, increase your knowledge of the industry and introduce you to new suppliers. Trade shows can be public events, or may be closed to only certain members of the business community, company representatives and/or the press.

There are currently over 2000 trade shows in the US every year. Trade show industries vary from video games to books and wine to automobiles. You will also find trade shows scheduled for toys and games, furniture, ethnic foods, wedding and bridal and consumer electronics just to name a few.
