Bio: Susan McCool began her entrepreneurial journey as a Do-it-All Virtual Assistant after finding the industry through Bizymoms several years ago. In April of 2006 she founded Virtual Office Associates (link to: http://www.virtualofficeassociates.net), a team of professional virtual assistants that can handle every business need from general office work to all the technical mumbo jumbo. Susan realized that she needed a business that catered to her true passion -- marketing, design and SEO. These were the subjects she has devoted countless hours of research and practice to. With some guidance from a personal mentor, Susan decided to take the plunge and opened the virtual doors to Spotlight Marketing and Design. Spotlight Marketing and Design is a marketing and design firm specializing in Internet Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Web & Graphic Design and more.

Susan began her love of marketing, design and SEO from a challenge a friend gave her to create a website. Not wanting to lose the challenge, she scoured the web for all the info she could find on building a website using HTML. Although her finished project was very amateur, she felt empowered by the creativity and her successful efforts. It was more than 8 years ago when she started taking online classes, courses and self teaching herself to where she is today. Designing led to needing to know how to get the word out about her creations, which led to learning Search Engine Optimization. Her newfound talents came useful during her years as an employee for several small businesses and she decided to put her talents to use for her own business. She now stays current on all the latest trends and techniques of design, marketing and search engine optimization.
