My son was a year and a half old and I was pregnant with baby number two when I decided that I was ready to start my business. I had started the research phase while I was pregnant with my son, but could never build up the courage to take the plunge. While pregnant with my daughter, I was placed on bed rest and my family needed that extra income. I decided what could it hurt – I didn’t have a job anyway, it could only help. It was fairly hairy at first with my son so young, but we eventually fell into a comfortable routine.
