Natural food is the best element of eating healthy and maintaining good health for the entire family.

We all know what natural foods are: they’re anything that hasn’t come into existence due to a manufacturing process but, instead, has come about from nature, from trees, from plants. So what are the best of these natural foods (in other words, super foods)? Lets have a look (most of them are low fat or no fat foods):

1. Acai (Ah – sigh – ee)

I know, it feels odd to start off this list with a fruit with a strange name, but studies have revealed that this berry is one of the most nutrition plentiful food you could ever get!

The Acai comes from a particular Amazon palm tree, which is present in the rain – forests in Brazil and tastes like an awesome mix of blueberries and dark chocolate (sounds yummy, doesn’t it?). Under that purple skin lies that magical stuff that makes it the best energy fruit.

Acai has a whole load of antioxidants, amino acids and necessary fatty acids. Though it’s a bit hard to find it in your local grocery store, it shouldn’t be impossible, so give it a try!

2. Kiwis

Kiwifruits also rank among the top in terms of nutrient content

3. Beans

Beans are a great source of low – fat and low – calorie protein and a mighty easy way to keep your weight and blood sugar in check.

4. Blueberries

Blueberries are a great fruit when it comes to keeping your brain really young even when you start aging.

5.  Brocolli

It may not be a favourite among a lot of people, but broccoli is said to be one of the best natural foods that helps you avoid cancer.

6. Oats

Oats are a great natural food which helps you reduce your cholestrol levels.

7. Oranges

Oranges must be one of the few fruits that have a high concentration of vitamin C, which helps to lower the rate of heart disease and cancer. The fact that it’s readily available in a lot of places makes it a real all – time favourite among a lot of people.

8. Pumpkin

I’m sure this wouldn’t have figured in your list of most healthy natural foods, but pumpkins are high on phytonutrients, which helps you to keep your skin fresh and protects it from damage from the sun.

9. Wild Salmon

Wild Salmon is a sure helper if you want to fight off any chances for a cardiac – related death.

10. Soy

One of the few natural foods which has all the necessary nutrients and is notable for the fact that it is the only non – veg source of protein
