When SAD becomes severe' it has not much of a difference from Major Depression. So' Seasonal Affective Disorder should be treated cautiously. Necessary steps to prevent or heal this syndrome must be taken in time to stop major problems. Treatments such as Bright Light Therapy is one of the most common and effective methods of treating Seasonal Affective Disorder.

SAD should be given enough attention for a person to live a normal life even in the winter periods. The symptoms will gradually fall back with the setting in of spring' more sunlight' much warmer climate and longer days will surely give one the energy and enthusiasm to enjoy life. The best ways to prevent SAD is to stay active and enjoy life to the fullest without giving into your negative feelings. You can beat it if you set your mind to it!
